In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, it has been more than a week now that the dispute has persisted between religious denominations over the appointment of the chairman of the Electoral Commission.

Six of the eight denominations recognized by the state have registered the name of their candidate, Denis Kadima.

The Catholic and Protestant churches believe that it is illegal and point out that the pressures and threats exerted call into question its independence.

The opposition, and even part of the new majority, threaten not to participate in this CENI.

The citizen movement La Lucha calls for a sit-in this Thursday morning.

To talk about it, the head of the revival churches in Congo, Pastor Dodo Kamba, is the guest of RFI Afrique this morning.

He speaks on behalf of the six denominations that submitted the controversial minutes to the assembly.
