Three releases in the near future:

10 years have passed since Swedish literature's grand old lady, Kerstin Ekman, released her latest novel.

At the end of August, the book Löpa Varg will be published, about Ulf Norrstig, a retired forester who tells about the hunt, the forest and the memories.

In early September, Liv Strömquist's new comic book novel will be about our obsession with the exterior: Inside the Mirror Room.

It starts with Kylie Jenner's Instagram and then constitutes an idea-historical exposition in serial form about female beauty.

After Jonas Gardell's success with the Never Wipe Tears trilogy, the author continues to tell in novel form about the gay movement's for many unknown, Swedish history.

A happier year comes in early September.

Snacks to keep track of:

The scandals surrounding the Swedish Academy continue to create waves in the Swedish book publication this autumn as well.

The author Elise Karlsson, who was one of the women who appeared in Dagens Nyheter and testified about Kulturprofilen, has written a novel that takes place in an underground theater.

Similarities with the so-called club exist, for those who want to read them.

Dirt is the name of the novel and will be published in early September.

At the same time, Academy member Horace Engdahlut publishes the book Op.

101. It comes in November and is about how a writer reflects on "a spirit of the times that robbed him of his gentleness".

Ending trilogies:

Fredrik Backman's book series about Björnstad and the hockey team that the small town's collective interest revolves around will end this autumn when the book Vinnarna comes out.

The books were on the New York Times bestseller list and became a series on HBO.

Niklas Natt and Dag's Bellman Noir trilogy finish.

After 1793 and 94, now comes not entirely unexpectedly 1795.

Zlatan publishes book:

Ten years after the autobiography I am Zlatan comes a new book.

"There are moments in life and sports I have never revealed before," the football star told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

What it is remains to be seen.

It was the author David Lagercrantz who wrote Zlatan's first book.

Since then, he has written the last three parts of the Millennium book series.

This autumn, Lagercrantz will publish the first part of his own detective series called Obscuras.
