Crowdfunding that universities in Osaka prefecture are raising costs on the Internet to develop exercise equipment that can effectively treat children with illness called "orthostatic dysregulation" such as difficulty getting up in the morning even while sleeping I'm doing ding.

This initiative was started last month by Associate Professor Yuko Ishizaki of Kansai Medical University in Hirakata City, Osaka.



"Orthostatic dysregulation" is a disease that causes symptoms such as lightheadedness, general malaise, and difficulty in getting up in the morning due to autonomic nervous system disorders. According to the Japanese Society of Pediatric Psychosomatic Medicine, junior high school students It is said that about 10% of the cases and 30% to 40% of the students who do not attend school are affected.



According to the research group, lack of exercise is considered to be one of the factors that make the symptoms worse, but effective exercise therapy has not yet been established.



Therefore, the research group launched crowdfunding to raise funds necessary for research through the Internet in order to develop exercise equipment that can be easily used even while lying down, such as moving your legs on the bed.



Associate Professor Ishizaki said, "First of all, I want many people to know about the lesser-known disease called'orthostatic dysregulation'. Then, I would like to ask for cooperation to support these children."



The final target amount for crowdfunding is 10 million yen, and we are calling for support until the end of this month.
