The shooting of season 2 has finally been able to resume.

Showrunner Chris Van Dusen confirmed to

Variety to

be "on his way" from Los Angeles to studios in the UK.

"We were late because of the Covid, but we are back," he added.

Filming was interrupted for the second time in mid-July, following two cases of Covid-19 detected among the teams.

So now it's time to catch up, but the showrunner is confident.

"I'm at my post, I edit our first two episodes which look very good," he said.

Relief

Netflix, which broadcasts the show, has not mentioned any particular delay in broadcasting the continuation of the Bridgertons' adventures.

This second season is inspired by the second book in the literary series created by Julia Quinn and focuses on Anthony Bridgerton and his quest to find a bride.

We will therefore find Jonathan Bailey in the main role.

As for Regé-Jean Page fans, you'll have to give you a reason, since the actor has only signed for one season ...
