“At the next attack, I stop” Adrien Ravenat, breeder in Cholonge (Isère), is in deep disarray.

We learn from France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes that his flock of sheep has once again been the target of a pack of wolves, killing 11 animals in total.

A total of six sheep were killed by wolves that night.

Five others were devoured in a previous attack in early July.

“The job of a breeder is more difficult than before.

We are asked to work with a predator that does not have one, and to put in place a lot of protection measures.

The attacks are more and more frequent.

It is not tenable ”, deplores Adrien Ravenat.

He calls on elected officials and the government to find common ground between the protection of the wolf and that of the herds.

Since its reappearance in France in 1992, the wolf is still an endangered species in France.
