On August 1, tourists approached the "burning lighthouse" lit up at night and felt the majesty of the thousand-year-old tower at close range.

Randian (full name Randeng Buddha stupa, also commonly known as Tongzhou Tower) is located in Tongzhou District, Beijing, on the bank of the source of the North Canal. The tower has 13 floors.

The stupa of Burning Light Buddha is one of the eight scenic spots in Ancient Tongzhou, located on the west bank of the canal at the northern end of Tongzhou District.

It is located at the junction of the five rivers in Beijing (ie, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Tonghui River, Wenyu River, Xiaozhong River, and Tide Reduction River). It is closely related to Tongzhou water transport and is a symbol of the northern end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

According to "Tongzhou County Chronicles", Randian Lighthouse was built in the second year of Taiping in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (557) and has a history of more than 1,400 years.

At that time this pagoda was not called a stupa, but an earthen pagoda in Zhenshui.

According to the research of archaeological experts, today's burning lighthouse should be a Liao-Jin building.
