The new national identity card (CNI) comes into force on Monday August 2 throughout France.

A biometric part

These biometric data will be stored in a highly secure compartment, access to which is specifically supervised, assures the Ministry of the Interior.

He specifies that these electronic components “do not allow any geolocation and its uses cannot be traced by the State.

Another novelty: according to the usual information, it will now be possible to display two addresses on the card for children in alternate residence with their parents.
