Magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean

Tremors occurred east of Raul Island, located 800 km from New Zealand.

The outbreak was located at a depth of 26 km.

Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was recorded on August 2, 200 km south of the largest city in New Zealand, Auckland.
