In this month of August, many children benefit from the activities of the day camps.

But for how long?

In Hauts-de-France, more and more leisure centers are closing their doors because of an increase in coronavirus cases.

To avoid having to come to this, some establishments have strengthened their reception protocol, such as Forest-sur-Marque.

REPORTAGE

"36.6 ° C, you can go Maelline!".

Every morning it's the same catchphrase: temperature measurement compulsory for the 60 children at the Forest-sur-Marque leisure center, in the North.

From 38 ° C, the team takes no risk and a sanitary protocol is put in place.

"You have to isolate the child, contact the parent and take the children out of the same group in order to be able to disinfect the room", specifies Matilda, the director of this ventilated center.

In Mons-en-Barœul, Wambrechies or even Arras, leisure centers are closing slowly in Hauts-de-France because of cases of coronavirus detected.

To avoid the disaster, some air centers have already stepped up their reception measures.

Taking temperature every morning, wearing a mask or even adapted activities, the leisure centers are forced to review their organization.

"We made the choice to strengthen certain measures"

This airy center is afraid of having to close like many others.

An apprehension shared by Hélène Darras, the manager of "Rigolo Comme La Vie", an association which manages ten leisure activities in Hauts-de-France.

"For 10 days we have seen the situation evolve, we fear this closure," she worries.

Before adding: "we have chosen to reinforce certain measures by asking the animators to wear the mask continuously throughout the summer period outdoors".

Outdoor activities are also favored.

Walks in the parks are encouraged while the cinema or bowling are prohibited: not all have the health pass and are not yet vaccinated.
