As part of its artistic mission to spread musical culture and awareness of it, "Bait Al Oud" in Abu Dhabi began organizing specialized music education courses and lessons at Al Qattara Arts Center in Al Ain, to continue its journey in preserving the heritage of traditional Arabic music, and raising a new generation of professional classical musicians.

Bait Al Oud's introduction of its new lessons in Al Ain comes after the great success it achieved in Abu Dhabi, as it contributes to the education and training of many musicians and singers to start their careers.

A virtual concert of classical Arabic music inspired by traditional Emirati music was held last July 31, which was performed by a number of Bait Al Oud musicians with masters of Oud, Violin, Qanoon and other musical instruments.

The artistic head of Bait Al Oud, artist and musician Naseer Shamma, said: “Since the launch of Bait Al Oud in Abu Dhabi in 2008, it has made a diligent approach to its programs and educational courses to enhance the status and appreciation of classical music in society, thus preserving the rich musical traditions of the United Arab Emirates and continuing its renewal, and graduating a new generation. One of the Arab youth passionate about Arabic music and its rich heritage.

I am very pleased to witness the launch of our music lessons in Al Ain to continue this successful path towards establishing a global and regional center for the Arab Gulf states, which will undoubtedly enhance the support of the brilliant musical talents from Abu Dhabi and the rest of the world.”

Bait Al Oud courses at Al Qattara Arts Center include Oud, Qanoon and Violin lessons, as well as virtual online solfege lessons from experienced teachers.

The courses are available to everyone over eight years old.
