Becoming famous after being at the heart of a resounding criminal case in which she was finally acquitted, American Amanda Knox has accused a new film of "profiting" from her case.

, released in theaters in the United States on Friday, tells the story of an American (Matt Damon) who travels to France to try to help his daughter (Abigail Breslin), in prison after being charged with the murder of her friend, whom she claims not to have committed.
He is helped by a Frenchwoman (Camille Cottin).
Its director, Tom McCarthy, said he was freely "inspired" by the case in which Amanda Knox was involved, while claiming that his script was different.
