In the early morning of August 1, a case of Hu, who was initially positive for the nucleic acid of the new coronavirus, was detected in Haikou City, Hainan Province, and he was immediately transferred to a designated hospital for isolation and treatment.
The laboratory of the Provincial and Municipal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reviewed the nucleic acid test results of the new crown virus and the results were all positive, and the Hainan Provincial Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters confirmed that it was a case of new crown pneumonia (mild).
Haikou City initiated emergency plans as soon as possible, implemented isolation treatment and epidemiological investigation of cases, carried out investigation, tracking and management of relevant contacts, and adopted measures such as closed management and elimination of relevant places.
