According to the report, after a day of investigation, the nucleic acid test of 139 people in Nanbao Garden, Haikou City, where the case is located, was negative. The close contacts of the case, 3 children and 2 adults, were all negative.
At present, Haikou has carried out nucleic acid tests on confirmed cases, close contacts of suspected cases, and persons within the closed control area. At present, 6207 samples have been collected and 791 results have been negative. It is expected that all test results will be available at 8:00 on August 2 .
Ling Yun, the deputy mayor of Haikou City, reported that at 1:00 am on August 1, Haikou City received a report from a nucleic acid testing agency that found a positive case of nucleic acid test results for the new coronavirus. Haikou City immediately initiated an emergency response and will test positive persons. Transferred to designated hospitals for isolation diagnosis and treatment, and simultaneously launched epidemiological investigations and re-nucleic acid testing, and risk screening of key personnel and key locations. At 8 am, the new coronavirus nucleic acid testing will be reviewed by the provincial and municipal CDC laboratories. According to reports, the main points of the case's trajectory are Nanbao Garden, Hisense Huating, Huaqiang Community, Agricultural Reclamation Second Supply, Jinbi Yayuan, Jincheng Yipin, Jinpan Chuangye New Village, Jinhu No. 1 and other communities, as well as Haikou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Hainan Provincial People’s Hospital, Zhongshan Eye Hospital and other medical institutions, as well as areas such as the Toupu Market in the west of the city.
