“Today the park works as usual and receives guests,” Nikolaev said in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.
According to him, there were 11 fires in the park.
To date, there are only two fires left, they are localized.
He noted that the damage was done and expressed the hope that nature will heal itself in the coming years.
Earlier, more than 60 tons of water during 12 sorties were dropped by the crews of helicopters of the Eastern Military District (VVO) on the centers of forest fires in Yakutia.
