In Russia 36 forest fires were extinguished per day

“Over the past day, on August 1, in Russia, forest fire forces have liquidated 36 forest fires on an area of ​​6,535 hectares,” TASS reports.

It is noted that the largest area of ​​fires was recorded in Yakutia - 669 thousand hectares.

Earlier, Pavel Garin, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Yakutia, spoke about the situation with forest fires in the region.
