Medical sources at the hospital where the artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz is being treated, revealed that the treating medical team made a proposal that might be a radical solution to her unstable health situation, more than three months ago, due to complications of infection with the Corona virus, which caused her lung fibrosis, which prevents her from breathing normally. , and requires to be placed on the oxygen machine permanently.
The sources indicated to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan" that before Dalal was finally transferred to a government hospital to continue treatment, the medical team suggested a lung transplant for her, but her family strongly refused due to the seriousness of the operation.
Earlier this week, Dalal Abdel Aziz was transferred from the private hospital in which she was treated to another government hospital, in a move that medical sources attributed to several reasons, namely that the government hospital is known for its great excellence in treating post-Corona cases, and that the case needs more time in treatment. And the doctors’ point of view is that continuing in the same hospital and in the same state of isolation may lead to depression that showed signs of her during her last days in the private hospital, and the third reason is that doctors and nursing staff no longer have anything to offer the case.
