A touching message from Sherihan to her young daughter: I defied death to give birth to you
The Egyptian performing artist, Sherihan, sent a touching message to her young daughter on her birthday.
In the message she posted on her official Instagram page, Sherihan reviewed how she challenged medical advice on the necessity of getting rid of the fetus because it poses a threat to her life, and how she insisted on keeping the fetus, regardless of the results.
Sherihan said in the message: "You were my prayer answered by God. You are a
dream and a wish that your sister Lulwa made for me, when she was eight to ten years old. She told me I want a sister to play with me and play with her. I told her I wish, and the doctors resolved the matter with the word impossible."
And she continued: "In the same year, December 2008, I went to perform the two pilgrimages, while I was in my tent, I asked for you from my Lord and I read Surat Maryam and said to my Lord I will name her Mary or the next of the Holy Qur'an, so my Lord gave me his gift because with him nothing is impossible and you were my answered supplication."
Sherihan added in her message: "I informed my doctors, and they told me it is not possible and impossible, pregnancy makes the disease active and fierce in its spread and impossible, and for the choice to choose and choose between two things: education and taking care of Lulu or gifting it to a brother or sister, so I chose the gift of my Lord and told them that he knows and you do not know, The gift will not be returned, let alone if it is from the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful.
Sherihan concluded her words to her young daughter, following the Qur’an, by saying: “Every year, you are good, mercy, healing, peace, future and hope for tomorrow, my little angel, your sister’s wish, and my answered prayer, following the Holy Qur’an.”
Sherihan's audience, a large number of art stars, interacted with Sherihan's message to her daughter, and Sherihan suffered from health crises, which completely affected her professional and social career, and she was able, with her strong will, to conquer disease, especially cancer, to return finally through the play "Coco Chanel", which began to be shown on the platform Watch electronic.
