Children from a special school in Tokyo watched the game by remotely controlling a robot installed at the Tokyo Olympic Games venue.

We watched the children and students of the Tokyo Metropolitan Special Needs School "Komei Gakuen" in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.

The children remotely controlled the robots installed at the badminton venue in Chofu City from the school.

When you move the touch panel or the lever on the control panel, the robot's arm moves or applauds.

The state of the venue was projected on the screen, and the children cheered on the players while enjoying their first experience.

In addition, a dome-shaped theater was also set up, and the state of the opening ceremony held on the 23rd of this month was also projected.

On the 31st, Governor Koike also inspected the children.

Due to the spread of the infection, the venue in Tokyo for the Olympic Games became unattended, so the plan for junior high school and high school students to visit the venue and watch the game was canceled.

Komyo Gakuen Principal Kojiro Tamura said, "The children were having more fun than I had imagined. It was a good opportunity."
