On August 4, 2020, two huge explosions shook the entire Port of Beirut district and devastated many buildings in the city, in a very large perimeter.

A year later, the investigation into the causes of this murderous tragedy is slipping and the victims are still awaiting redress.

This is the meaning of the speeches of our two guests this Saturday:

Diane Assaf,

very involved in the civil society movement, and

Michel El Meouchy,

lawyer for Lebanese-Canadian victims.

A program recorded in Beirut in the studios of our partner, Radio Liban.
