The zouk is an orphan, his father, the guitarist of the group Kassav 'Jacob Desvarieux, died of Covid, at the age of 65, at Pointe-à-Pitre hospital in Guadeloupe.
He leaves behind him, with Kassav ', about fifteen studio albums, and some planetary hits.
