[Explanation] Recently, the Tokyo Olympics are in full swing.

In Shanghai, there is a people's policeman who once went to the Olympic Games to win glory for the country.

"Post-90s" Jiang Haiqi once won the bronze medal with teammates Sun Yang, Hao Yun, and Li Yunqi in the men's 4*200m free relay swimming in the London Olympics.

Today, he is a Huangpu River patrol police officer of the Border Guard and Port and Shipping Public Security Bureau of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau.

When asked why he chose to become a water public security police officer after retiring, Jiang Haiqi said with a smile that the police was his childhood dream, and he was very lucky. For half of his life, the profession he loved was related to water.

When I was young, I liked it (happily) because I felt more handsome when I saw the police, so I said that when I grow up, I will have this opportunity to have this opportunity, and I will be able to become a policeman.

[Explanation] Transforming into a qualified water police officer is not an easy task.

Jiang Haiqi said frankly that when he was just preparing for the public security cultural examination, he could not count how many nights he had stayed up late to study.

The successful passing of the exam is just the most basic step for Jiang Haiqi to transform into a police officer on the water.

From adapting to the arduous working environment on a boat during heavy winds and waves, to learning how to drive a patrol boat, these are all "skill points" that a qualified water policeman must point.

Jiang Haiqi said frankly that, after all, he was not from a professional class who sailed. How to control the speed and how to deal with emergencies requires continuous learning from the master and continuous accumulation of experience in practice.

Because in fact, the boat is a bit different from the car. I can brake or stop when the car hits any situation, but the boat can’t, because the boat has a certain idling speed. Even if you release the throttle, the boat is still moving forward. , So you must pay more attention when sailing than when driving.

[Explanation] Behind the beautiful scenery of the Huangpu River is inseparable from the guarding and patrolling of the water public security police day after day.

Jiang Haiqi, who has worked for nearly three years, has rescued many people who fell into the water on the Huangpu River.

He said that in most cases of water rescue, life-saving equipment was thrown from the boat to the person who fell into the water.

But if the water level is too shallow for the boat to approach, it will have to dive to save people.

I once rescued an old man by diving two years ago, and I am still impressed.

Rescue in emergencies is inseparable from usual long-term training.

Jiang Haiqi said that the water public security police will regularly train to tow dummy life-saving and driving boat life-saving projects.

And he himself, in order to maintain his physical fitness, will often conduct physical training after get off work.

In normal times, including sometimes going to the pool or exercising or swimming after get off work, because if you encounter an emergency task, you also need a physical reserve or physical support.
