An NHK Broadcasting Technology Bureau employee was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of assault, alleging that he had a quarrel with a man at the platform of a station in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, and made a bottle of tea.
NHK says, "We regret that the staff was arrested, and we will confirm the facts and deal with them rigorously."
The person arrested was Yuji Hirose (32) of the NHK Science & Technical Research Laboratories.
According to the investigation by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, there is a suspicion of assault at the platform of the station in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo on the early morning of the 30th, saying that he had a quarrel with a man who got off the train and made a bottle of tea.
At that time, he was drunk.
