[Explanation] As the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hong Kong continues to stabilize, the "high seas tour" that Hong Kong citizens look forward to is officially restarted.

The first reopened cruise ship "Genting Dream" sailed from the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Hong Kong on July 30, attracting more than a thousand tourists.

[Explanation] At the resumption ceremony held at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on the same day, the Director of the Bureau of Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Yau Tenghua, stated that the "High Seas Tour" is an extension of Hong Kong’s local tourism. Under the anti-epidemic measures, the first cruise trip to resume flights can bring a relaxing and safe experience for tourists.

"High seas travel" can be said to be an extension of local travel.

Because "High Seas Tour" (the cruise ship) did not go to other ports to berth, nor would it pick up passengers from outside Hong Kong, this is actually an extension of the local tour. This extension gives the public a better place to go.

Although three days and two nights is a shorter journey, they can at least go out to sea in a more relaxed environment and enjoy a good weekend in a larger cruise space.

Therefore, we hope that this new cruise vacation on the high seas starting today will give everyone a happy and safe travel experience.

[Explanation] In the afternoon of the same day, more than 1,000 tourists boarded the Dream Cruises "Genting Dream" one after another. Many tourists said in an interview with reporters that this trip can be said to be long-awaited and hope to take this opportunity to relax.

I think it's very exciting because I have been at home for more than a year. I think this is a very good opportunity and I am very excited. I want to go in and play soon.

This time Hong Kong has a rare opportunity (to organize high seas tour). It is said that this is the first time (held) since the epidemic in Hong Kong. We have the opportunity to participate. Of course, we hope to enter the cruise ship.

I am very excited and look forward to seeing the blue sky and blue sea most.

I am in a very good mood, and I can finally get out of (Hong Kong), relax (go out) and breathe.

[Commentary] It is reported that, as the first "High Seas Cruise" cruise to resume voyages in Hong Kong, Dream Cruises "Genting Dream" has a total of three days and two nights.

Before officially boarding the ship, all crew members and tourists must be vaccinated with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine and hold a certificate of negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test within 48 hours.
