Britney Spears' doctors are categorical: it is necessary, for the health of the singer, that her father be removed from her tutelage.

The star's co-tutor, Jodi Montgomery, who more specifically handles the artist's personal affairs (while Jamie Spears takes care of the financial side) revealed in court documents obtained by The Blast that the team medical interpreter of

Toxic

now considers that it is not healthy that his father is in charge of his affairs.

"In her capacity as guardian of Ms. Spears, Ms. Montgomery respectfully notes that Ms. Spears' medical team agrees that it is not in her best interests that Mr. Spears be and remain guardian of her affairs," read in the documents relayed by the publication.

The Blast adds that now that medical experts have given their opinion, the judges are more than likely to side with Britney Spears.

In the documents, Jodi Montgomery also claims that she agrees that the role of tutor in charge of the singer's affairs be taken over by Jason Rubin, an accountant chosen by Britney Spears herself.

"The relationship between (Britney) and her father is damaging to Ms. Spears' sanity, well-being and her ability to pursue and continue her extraordinary career," the doctors say in the documents.
