Around noon on the 30th, a 4-year-old boy died in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, when he was hit by a car trying to enter a supermarket parking lot.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, before midnight on the 30th, Chihiro Murai (4), who lives nearby on the ward road in Nishiogu, Arakawa-ku, was walking with his mother and was hit by a car turning left.



Chihiro was taken to the hospital by hitting her whole body, but died about two and a half hours later.



The car belonged to a waste paper collector, and he had just turned left to enter the supermarket parking lot.



The Metropolitan Police Department arrested a 51-year-old office worker in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, who was driving, on the spot on suspicion of negligent driving injury.



It means that he admits to the investigation that he "has definitely hit it."



The site is a residential area about 400 meters northeast of JR Oku Station, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the situation of the accident in detail.
