With 1,015,247 tickets sold, the film adaptation by the actor and director of his cult series achieved the second best start of the year after
Fast & Furious 9
(1,301,589 admissions in the first week).
Expected by fans for a dozen years, Alexandre Astier's feature film follows the hit series

on M6 and is expected to be the first of three films.

Just a week after the introduction of the health pass in movie theaters, ticket sales collapsed.
As proof, the ninth installment of the motorized saga with Vin Diesel (
Fast & Furious
) shows only 248,852 new entries in one week, a decrease of 81%, after a stormy start.
Another big American production,
Black Widow
, the last Marvel with Scarlett Johansson, saw its admissions fall by 71% in one week and is now in fourth place at the box office.
The number of tickets sold for the Palme d'Or
Titane
by Julia Ducournau also shows a sharp drop, by 35%, with 57,184 admissions.
Since its release, it has totaled 145,000 admissions.
