Britney Spears' doctors are fully behind the singer's attempts to fire her father as her curator.

That's according to new court documents filed by Laurieann Wright, who represents Spears' temporary curator Jodi Montgomery.

Who's who in the Britney Spears case?

  • Jamie Spears: Father of Britney and the one who has been in control of her money, living conditions and health since 2008.

  • Jodi Montgomery: health care manager and co-curator (Britney's health).

  • Mathew Rosengart: Britney's new lawyer.

  • Lynne Spears: Mother of Britney, is outside the curatorship.

  • Jason Rubin: accountant and nominated as new co-curator on the singer's finances.

  • Jamie Lynn Spears: Britney's sister, would benefit from the curatorship.

  • Sam Asghari: Britney's partner.

The papers state that "the medical team agrees that it is not in the best interests of Britney's health if Mr. Spears stays on as curator".

A judge these words will probably take very seriously, says

Montgomery also approves Jason Rubin, who has been nominated as the new co-curator of the singer's finances.

Earlier this week, Mathew Rosengart, Britney's new attorney, filed papers in which he and Britney request that Rubin take over the financial portion of the trusteeship from Jamie Spears.

The singer's mother also spoke out strongly against her ex-husband this week.

Court papers in the hands of American media show that Lynne Spears believes that Britney's father Jamie Spears is threatening and oppressing her.

The next hearing in the case will take place on September 29.

The judge may then decide on Spears' request to dismiss her father as trustee.

He has been in this role since 2008, after the singer was admitted due to mental problems.
