Alaska recorded tsunami waves after earthquake

Tsunami waves were recorded in the areas of the cities of Sand Point, King Cove, Kodiak and Old Harbor, according to updated data from the center.

The maximum wave height - about 21 centimeters - was noted in the Old Harbor area.

Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 was recorded off the coast of the American state of Alaska.
