The reporter visited the mobile shelter laboratory for nucleic acid detection on the "Falcon"

On semi-trailer trucks, 12 hours of continuous work

On the morning of July 27, due to the landing of Typhoon "Fireworks", heavy rain in the urban area of Nanjing.

Under the viaduct on the first floor of the south square of the railway station, a huge modified container semi-trailer is quietly parked. It is called the "Falcon" mobile shelter laboratory, which is more than 100 meters away from the entrance. Nucleic acid test samples collected at the entrance of the station in emergency situations and passengers who really need to leave Nanjing will be sent here for inspection.

"Falcon" is installed on a semi-trailer truck

At 12 o'clock noon, the reporter saw at the entrance of the train station that the staff strictly checked the health code and nucleic acid test report of inbound passengers. If there is no nucleic acid test report within 48 hours, entry will be prohibited.

Only passengers who have to leave Nanjing due to an emergency will be directed to the sampling point to collect nucleic acids, and the collected nucleic acid samples will be sent to a nearby mobile shelter laboratory.

This mobile shelter laboratory is called "Falcon".

The reporter obtained permission before approaching the laboratory. The person in charge Feng Guangdong and the staff wore blue protective clothing.

It is called a mobile laboratory because the laboratory is modified from a container and hoisted on an ultra-long semi-trailer, which is convenient for maneuvering.

From the appearance, this semi-trailer truck is brand new, clean and tidy, and the container is sprayed with the words "Golden Field Medical" mobile shelter laboratory.

A small RV was also parked next to the semi-trailer as the administrative office of the laboratory.

The laboratory sample preparation room is the core area

After the inspection, the reporter put on protective clothing, led by the person in charge of the scene, Feng Guangdong, climbed the ladder and entered the "corridor" of the mobile laboratory.

Although you are already inside the container, you can see the thick partitions, and the three laboratories inside are still independently enclosed.

Through the double-layer tempered glass windows, it can be seen that the staff are neatly dressed and busy inside.

Although the sparrow is small and complete, the container is mainly composed of three side-by-side experimental areas and a disinfection room, and the rest are corridors with a width of less than 80 cm running through the left and right sides.

Even if you are in the corridor, you need to talk to the staff in the laboratory through the walkie-talkie. The entire laboratory is divided into a reagent preparation room, a sample placement area and a product amplification room.

The reporter saw through the glass that in the reagent preparation room, a female staff member was wearing protective clothing and sorted out nucleic acid detection reagents. There was a yellow trash bin on the right to put medical waste.

In this space of less than 5 square meters, I can only stand and move my body when I am busy.

In the sample configuration area separated from her, the conditions are more "hard" and the requirements are stricter. This is the core area. The three staff members wear higher standards of protection, and all face masks and goggles are used.

In a small laboratory, they need to directly face the nucleic acid test samples without any negligence.

"The sample configuration room is the core area of the shelter, and there can be no mistakes." Feng Guangdong said that there are two doors in the sample configuration room.

There is a buffer room between the two doors.

The people inside go to the buffer zone from the first exit, where they are used to disinfect and take off their protective clothing before leaving the work area.

On the other side of the sample preparation room is the product amplification room, where the nucleic acid test results of the sampled population will be issued.

  "Stationed" at Nanjing Railway Station

According to reports, this mobile shelter laboratory belongs to the Golden Mile Medical Inspection Group.

Feng Guangdong said that although the group is stationed in various places, after the outbreak of the Nanjing epidemic, the group has mobilized its talents. There are colleagues from Sichuan and Guangdong. As soon as they arrive in Nanjing, they will immediately start working, and they will work in two shifts 24 hours a day. Say that each group should work continuously for 12 hours.

This mobile shelter laboratory "stationed" to Nanjing Railway Station on July 22, mainly to cooperate with government units to detect nucleic acids sampled.

Feng Guangdong's voice was slightly hoarse. He said that he arranged to communicate various operational matters every day, and a lot of communication was required. There were more than 300 calls the day before.

"At present, for the passenger-only mode, one person, one management!" Feng Guangdong said: "The square cabin car has two characteristics, one is mobile and the other is fast. It will be driven to areas and places in need according to the requirements of epidemic prevention." A person from the comprehensive management department of Nanjing Railway Station said that although this mobile cabin serves passengers, it is still necessary to emphasize that it is not necessary to stay away from it.

Even if a 48-hour nucleic acid report is obtained, going out and arriving at the destination during the epidemic will face the requirement of re-testing.
