Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, announced that it accidentally vaccinated an 11-year-old elementary school student who was not vaccinated with the new coronavirus vaccine at a medical institution in the city.

Medical institutions continue to check the health of their children.

According to Hainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, a doctor mistakenly gave Pfizer's new coronavirus vaccine to an 11-year-old elementary school student who visited a medical institution in the city to be vaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus vaccine on the 26th. It means that it was inoculated.

Pfizer vaccinations are for people over 12 years old.

The child is currently suffering from a low-grade fever and the inoculated arm is swollen, so medical institutions are continuing to check the health condition.

According to the city, a new corona vaccine was also placed on the desk where the two-kind vaccine to be inoculated to children was placed, and the doctor accidentally picked it up and inoculated it.
