Zharinam Co is the third largest lake in Tibet. It is an east-west tectonic faulted lake. The lake has an elevation of 4,613 meters and a maximum water depth of 71.55 meters. It is about 12 kilometers away from the city of Coqin. It is about 54 kilometers long from east to west and about 54 kilometers wide from north to south. The 20-kilometer high-altitude lake with an area of about 1,023 square kilometers has beautiful summer scenery and its own characteristics for the appreciation of distances and heights. The scientific expedition team takes a red inflatable speedboat to investigate the lake, which is particularly eye-catching.
