On the morning of July 27, two enthusiastic elder sisters from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province came to the Xinshiji Community of Baisha Town, Zhengdong New District with water. Band-aids, Fengyoujing and other heatstroke prevention and cooling and disinfection drugs.
Because there was still a lot of water on the road in the community, the enthusiastic eldest sister took off her slippers and waded to the detachment's flood drainage operation point.
In the morning of the same day, the Xiangyang City Fire Rescue Detachment, 5 vehicles, 18 people and 4 pumps, went to Zhengdong New Century Community, Baisha Town, Zhengdong New District to carry out flood drainage operations.
After arriving at the scene, it was discovered that there are 48 buildings in the New Century Community, each with a basement, and there are 2 underground garages in the community.
At present, most basements and two underground garages still have a large amount of stagnant water. If it is not discharged in time, it will seriously threaten the safety of residential buildings and residents' daily life.
After the on-site investigation, the officers and soldiers of the Xiangyang City Fire Rescue Detachment immediately used 4 hand-carried motor pumps to drain the underground garage water.
At present, drainage work is still ongoing.
