After hiking for nearly an hour, a stranded whale was found not far from the sea. The trapped whale had weak vital signs.

  The staff of the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ruian City identified the whale as a baleen whale with a body length of about 7 meters and a weight of 1.5 to 2 tons.

  In order to keep the whale's body moist, the staff immediately watered the whale with a bucket and deployed an excavator to excavate the tidal flat and store water for the whale to survive.

  At present, rescue forces such as Rui'an Public Security Bureau, Rui'an Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Wenzhou Polar Ocean World and on-site workers are carrying out rescue operations, and the vital signs of the stranded whale are stable.

  In the next step, rescuers will use excavators and rescue equipment to try to send stranded whales into the sea at high tide at 22:00 that day.

  It is reported that cetaceans and dolphins have been stranded recently in Taizhou and Ningbo along the coast of Zhejiang.
