According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, the typhoon "Fireworks" weakened to a severe tropical storm level in the western part of Hangzhou Bay at 9 am on July 26. Its center subsequently made landfall again on the coast of Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province at 9:50 am. The maximum wind force nearby is 10 levels (28 m/s), and the lowest air pressure in the center is 978 hPa.
The reporter saw on a dam near Hangzhou Bay in Dushangang Town, Pinghu, Jiaxing, the waves of Hangzhou Bay were rolling and strong winds roaring on the shore.
Coastal wind turbines have now been suspended.
