Nippon Television has announced that it will broadcast a verification program later next month due to the problem of discriminatory expressions that hurt the Ainu people in the information program.

In the information program "Refreshing" broadcasted by Nippon Television in March, there was a discriminatory expression that hurt the Ainu people, and BPO = "Broadcasting Ethics and Program Improvement Organization" announced on the 21st of this month. He concluded that there was a violation of broadcasting ethics, including a clear factor of a decisive lack of basic knowledge about the Ainu people and discrimination issues.

On this issue, NTV has announced that it will broadcast an information program starting at 8:00 am on the 26th of next month and a special program to verify the circumstances from 2:30 am on the 29th.

In the program, we will verify why the discriminatory expression was broadcast as it is and the check system at the production site.
