Something to put you off learning foreign languages.
Two young teenage girls from Nice, 12 and 13 years old, are in solitary confinement in Lisbon for 10 days after some of their language fellow students tested positive for Covid-19, reports
Nice Matin
.
The two young girls, considered as contact cases although tested negative and vaccinated, are locked in their room.
The mother of one of them is furious and is ready to move heaven and earth to bring them back.
"You have to knock on the doors of embassies," she testified, adding that she was ready to go to Portugal to pick them up by car if necessary.
A not isolated situation recognizes Education First, the language travel program that manages this stay.
The latter told the regional daily to know "some complicated situations", also in a stay in New York, and still provide the video lessons.
