The new season of
Expedition Robinson
can be seen on television twice a week,
RTL Boulevard
reported
Monday.
Normally, the RTL 4 program is broadcast once a week, but from August 29 it can be seen every Sunday and Thursday.
The new series was shot in Croatia due to the pandemic.
In March it was announced that the organization was already "looking at the possibilities to include
Expedition Robinson
closer to home", said Peter van der Vorst, Director of Content at RTL.
It has not yet been announced which stars will participate this year.
The program, in which a group of people on an uninhabited island has to survive, has been on television in the Netherlands since 2000.
Expedition Robinson
, presented by Nicolette Kluijver and Kaj Gorgels, has been a big ratings hit for years.
Gorgels took over the presentation from Dennis Weening in 2019.
