The screenings of the Dutch cinema film

Meskina

were almost completely sold out in the first weekend since the premiere, film distributor WW Entertainment reports.

On the opening weekend, some movie theaters added extra shows to the program because there was so much interest.

The film is about Leyla, a thirty-something who tries to find her own way despite all the expectations and obviousness that belong to the ideal image of family, love and work.

During this quest she gets into quite a bit of trouble and ends up in hilarious and recognizable situations.

The comedy stars Maryam Hassouni, Nasrdin Dchar and Najib Amhali, among others.

The film was conceived by comedienne and debuting filmmaker Soundos El Ahmadi.
