According to the latest news from the Central Meteorological Observatory, Typhoon "Fireworks" is expected to make landfall from Pinghu, Zhejiang to the coast of Pudong, Shanghai from the night of July 25 to the morning of July 26.

In response, the officers and soldiers of the Jiaxing Detachment of the Zhejiang Armed Police Corps received the order to reinforce the dam of Zhapu Port in Pinghu.

  Cao Decheng, a platoon leader of the Jiaxing Detachment of the Armed Police, said that after three and a half hours of fighting by the officers and soldiers, the dam has been strengthened with a length of about 1.2 kilometers and a width of about 30 meters.

  In addition, the reporter saw at the scene that workers were stepping up to drain the waterlogged part of the wharf.

  It is understood that Zhapu Port is currently the only gateway to the Hangzhou Bay for the Hangjiahu Plain in the north of Zhejiang Province.
