The deportation of the artist Farhan Al-Ali from Kuwait

A well-informed security source revealed that the Ministry of Interior in the State of Kuwait decided to deport the Pakistani artist Farhan Al-Ali, despite the Court of Cassation ruling to refrain from pronouncing his punishment and canceling his two-year imprisonment.

The source told Al-Qabas newspaper that the deportation decision is in effect despite the court of cassation ruling that canceled his imprisonment for two years, noting that the deportation prison administration will set a date for his deportation to his home country within 48 hours.

The Criminal Court had sentenced Al-Ali to two years in prison with hard labor, a fine of one thousand dinars, and deportation from the country, after carrying out the penalty, after he was charged with publishing a video of indecent assault on the Snapchat application.

It is noteworthy that Farhan Al-Ali is a Pakistani actor, born and living in Kuwait and affiliated with the artistic community in which he achieved fame, through a large number of works in which he participated with major comedians in Kuwait, in addition to his participation in a number of Gulf and Egyptian works.
