The famous Colombian singer Shakira revealed that she does not like to hear her songs despite her international fame.
"My music is for everyone else but not mine," Shakira told dpa, adding that she even finds it very embarrassing to accidentally hear her own music in a restaurant. "I mean when I'm on stage, of course I enjoy it."
The famous singer released her new single "Don't Wait" less than a week ago, her first English-language song in a long time.
And about choosing the language of her songs, Shakira said: "I do not decide in a predictable way, it happens naturally."
Shakira stated that she is currently working on her new album, which may contain English and Spanish songs, according to her data, and she joked: "Who knows, maybe I'll sing one in German."
