Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 25th that it was confirmed that 162 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day increased by 83 from the Sunday one week ago, and exceeded the same day of the previous week for nine consecutive days.
The breakdown is 88 in Fukuoka City, 32 in Kitakyushu City, and 6 in Kurume City.
A total of 37,209 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
