On the evening of July 24, due to the impact of typhoon "fireworks", huge winds and waves were set off at the seaside of Pengdu Wharf, Jintangligang, Dinghai District, Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Sea water inverted into the wharf, causing serious waterlogging and waterlogging in the old house near Pengdu Wharf.

Jintang Fire and Rescue Station immediately dispatched 1 vehicle and 4 people to assist after receiving the rescue request from the Liping community.

  After the rescuers arrived, they discovered that due to heavy rains and seawater intrusion, the main road along the port road was seriously stagnant. The seawater was knee-high, and the severe areas even covered the waists of rescuers. The stagnant water invaded residential houses. Hundreds of residents were in urgent need of evacuation and transfer.

Under the command of the Liping Community Headquarters in Jintang Town, firefighters combined with public security and street offices to form an emergency evacuation team to help residents in the disaster-affected area relocate.

At about 2 o'clock on July 25, more than 300 residents near Pengdu Wharf in Jintang Town were evacuated with the efforts of all rescuers.
