Died director of the National Medical Research Center of Hematology of the Ministry of Health of Russia

“The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation sadly informs that on July 25, 2021, at the age of 69, the Director General of the National Medical Research Center of Hematology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valery Savchenko died,” the statement said.

It is noted that the Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko expressed condolences to Savchenko's family and colleagues.

Earlier it was reported that the neurosurgeon, doctor of medical sciences, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Potapov died.
