An Egyptian shoots an elderly man to avenge his murdered father 50 years ago

The Egyptian Public Prosecution, north of Giza, ordered the detention of 3 people for 4 days pending investigations, accusing them of killing an elderly man, due to a 50-year-old revenge among them.


According to the Egyptian "Seventh Day", the defendants confessed to the crime after their arrest, and stated that the dead man had killed a member of their family nearly 50 years ago, and that they decided to take revenge, so they obtained two automatic rifles, and monitored the movements of the victim, until they discovered his frequency on a piece land he owns.


They added that they tracked the dead man until they made sure that he was on his agricultural land, accompanied by his son, and drove by car, and shot the victim and then confirmed his death, while his son escaped death, and the accused fled after committing the crime.

He instructed the perpetrators of the two weapons, and they were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken.

The detectives also listened to the statements of the victim's son, who accused the perpetrators of the crime, and confirmed that the reason was a feud for revenge, his father's gathering with the accused's family.

Investigations revealed that the victim for nearly 50 years, and during his youth, killed the father of the accused, taking revenge, until members of the family of the murdered person decided to avenge him, despite the passage of those years. farm, they shot him and ran away.
