With singer Young-tak showing a sharp difference in his position with the makgeolli brand he worked as a model, there was a claim that Young-tak's mother demanded cash, royalties for all makgeolli products, and company shares from the makgeolli company.

On the 23rd, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, a former entertainment reporter, posted on his YouTube, "According to Yecheon Brewery, a makgeolli brand that Yeong-tak worked as a model, the mother with the power of attorney of Young-tak contributed 1 billion won to Yecheon Brewery, 1 billion won in trademark royalties, and 1 billion won in cash. They gave me a document asking for 15% royalties on all makgeolli products from Yecheon Brewery, including 2 billion won, and a 10% stake in the company."

Earlier, Yecheon Brewery's representative said, "After Young Tak received 160 million won for a year and modeled, he asked for a down payment of 700 million won before renewing the contract. However, if converted into money, the requirement is 5 billion won a year. presented," he claimed. It is known that Yecheon Brewery is a small and medium-sized company with 30 employees, with only 1 billion won in net profit excluding advertising expenses for the past year.

However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the condition that Yeong-tak's mother offered to Yecheon Brewery was the true meaning of Yeong-tak. This is because these requirements were not delivered by Young-tak himself or his agency.

Previously, Young Tak countered that the claim that it demanded 5 billion won a year from a makgeolli company was groundless.

Young-tak's fans are responding to the boycott of Yeong-tak, saying, 'A small and medium-sized company that has grown tremendously through Young-tak secretly tried to register Young-tak's trademark'.

Young-tak's side also dismissed the controversy, saying that the essence of the dispute with the makgeolli company is not the request for 5 billion won but the trademark right of the makgeolli company.

Young-tak's legal representative said, "The statement of Yecheon Brewery contains a claim to the effect that Yecheon Brewery has the right to use the Yeong-tak trademark. This claim is not legally refuted, and the right to use the 'Young-tak' label is not legally validated by Young-tak. It will be said that it does not require many words to say that it is with the Korean Intellectual Property Office. If the dispute continues, it will be confirmed according to the judgment of the Korean Intellectual Property Office and ultimately the judgment of the court."
