Yang Dasuo, deputy director of the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, introduced at the meeting that so far, Nanjing has a total of 35 local confirmed cases and a total of 18 local asymptomatic infections.
All 35 confirmed cases were treated in the Tangshan District of Nanjing Second Hospital (Nanjing Public Health Medical Center), and their vital signs were stable.
City-level experts from designated hospitals are stationed, expert groups from provinces and cities have consultations, Chinese and Western medicines are coordinated, and psychological counseling is provided in a timely manner to strengthen the medical treatment of patients.
18 cases of asymptomatic infections were also quarantined and medically managed in the Tangshan District of Nanjing Second Hospital.
Yang Dasuo said that at 0-24 o'clock on the 23rd, Nanjing added 12 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (3 of which were mild and 9 were ordinary), and 4 new cases of asymptomatic infection were added.
Among the aforementioned 16 cases of infection, 15 were in Jiangning and 1 in Lishui, both of which were airport staff and their close contacts.
Yang Dasuo said that in accordance with the national and provincial requirements for precise prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and after the evaluation of the epidemic prevention and control expert group, from July 24, 2021, the epidemic risk level in some areas of Nanjing has been adjusted again, and Jiangning District has added 3 medium-risk areas: Tongling New Village in Tongshan Community of Lukou Street and Cuipingcheng Community in Lugang Community, and Zhuangshang Natural Village in Hushu Street.
