Fu Ninghong, deputy director of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, stated that the Bureau of Commerce has initiated daily monitoring of the market supply of daily necessities.

The monitoring results show that the current supply of Nanjing Supermarket is sufficient. The supply of pork, eggs, vegetables, grain and oil, and aquatic products is stable, with abundant varieties and little price fluctuation.

  Fu Ninghong said that from the perspective of vegetable supply, the average quantity of vegetables arriving in the Nanjing Agricultural and Sideline Products Logistics Distribution Center in the past three days is about 3,700 tons, which is consistent with the annual average.

At the same time, the Nanjing Agricultural and Sideline Products Logistics Distribution Center continued to expand the organization channels for the supply of goods.

  Fu Ninghong said that from the perspective of pork supply, the 14 major pork wholesale companies monitored had an average supply of 430 tons in the past three days, maintaining the annual average level.

The city’s average daily supply of aquatic products is 162 tons, eggs are 200 tons, grains (including rice and flour) are 1,342 tons, and oils are 103 tons, maintaining the average daily level.

1470 branded supermarket chains and convenience stores, such as Suguo, Yonghui, Wal-Mart, Bianlifeng, Lawson, etc., while focusing on epidemic prevention, continue to increase the stock of daily necessities and increase the frequency of distribution to ensure normal consumption of residents.
