Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 24th that it was confirmed that 99 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day increased by 39 from Saturday one week ago, and exceeded the same day of the previous week for eight consecutive days.
The breakdown is 69 in Fukuoka City, 8 in Kitakyushu City, and 2 in Kurume City.
A total of 37,047 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
