Thierry Déau, the founder and director of the investment fund Meridiam, is “the Grand Guest of the RFI Jeune Afrique Economy”, the monthly edition hosted this week by Julien Clémençot and Dominique Baillard.
This bridge engineer, born in Martinique, chose to become a financier by creating his own company in 2005 - a fund specializing in infrastructure.
He is present in Europe, the United States and Africa where he has become a noted player.
By being a candidate for the takeover of part of Suez's activities, following the takeover bid launched by Veolia, Thierry Déau became in 2020 the new master of water, in France and also on the African continent.
